SINGAPORE, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Inspire Brands Asia (IBA) surpassed 600 Anytime Fitness clubs across its eight markets, reinforcing its position as the biggest and most diverse fitness franchise operator across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong SAR, and Taiwan.

The milestone follows a strong first seven months of 2026, with 80+ new clubs opened, 160+ new territories sold, and over a quarter-million new members joining the network. Members have completed over 23 million workouts through July this year, highlighting the continued demand and relevance for fitness throughout the region.

To mark the occasion, IBA celebrated the successive flagship openings behind this breakthrough ramp-up to 600 clubs:

  • Hong Kong: Anytime Fitness Whampoa
  • Indonesia: Anytime Fitness Sakura Garden City
  • Malaysia: Anytime Fitness Menara TNB Bangsar
  • Philippines: Anytime Fitness Festival Mall
  • Singapore: Anytime Fitness The Burghley
  • Taiwan: Anytime Fitness Taoyuan Dazhu
  • Thailand: Anytime Fitness Cloud 11
  • Vietnam: Anytime Fitness An Phu

"Six hundred clubs is an exciting milestone, but what truly inspires us is the vision beyond it," said Luke Guanlao, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Inspire Brands Asia. "We're building for the long haul, with our goal set at 1,000 clubs and 1 million members. That ambition is supported and powered by our franchise partners, who are committed to building stronger and fitter communities; our teams, who continue to raise the bar; and the people who choose Anytime Fitness as part of their everyday lives."

"Our job is far from done," added Co-Founder and Group President, Johannes Raadsma. "With a population of over 650 million and gym membership penetration of just 1%, we draw inspiration from the road that still lies ahead for Inspire Brands Asia as an organization, and Anytime Fitness as a brand in fulfilling our purpose of bringing accessible fitness deep into the heart of every community in an era where adult obesity, metabolic disease, and sedentary living continue to rise."

Growth has extended beyond new club openings. The company is evolving its member offerings through a more holistic approach to Training, Nutrition, and Recovery. By bringing these three pillars together, Inspire Brands Asia is creating a more complete fitness experience that helps members achieve sustainable, long-term results across a single integrated network.

Earlier this year, Inspire Brands Asia rolled out its AF Certified Coach program into three major markets. Developed exclusively for Anytime Fitness, the program is internationally accredited and establishes a consistent coaching standard across the region while giving coaches a clear pathway for professional development. The group aims to certify 1,500 coaches by 2028.

Supporting these initiatives is Train for Your Life, Inspire Brands Asia's regional brand campaign for 2026. The campaign encourages people to train with purpose—not just for traditional fitness goals, but for everyday life, whether that's keeping up with family, improving wellbeing or preparing for personal milestones.

The company's progress has also been recognised by the industry. Anytime Fitness Asia was named Franchise of the Year a third time at the BeyondActiv Awards. It was also recognised as the fitness industry's Top Influential Brand by Influential Brands, an independent organisation that highlights brands across Asia based on consumer preferences, brand influence, and market leadership.

The company operates in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam through a franchise network with over half of franchise partners owning multiple locations. Alongside its franchise business, Inspire Brands Asia also operates over 150 corporate-owned clubs, giving the business an ability to drive innovation, strengthen operations, and share proven practices across the network.

With more than 600 clubs and a booming growth pipeline still to come, Inspire Brands Asia remains fully committed to further expanding access to fitness while supporting franchise partners across the region for years to come.
