InnoSpace Hosts Virtual “InnoSpace Summit 2021”,
Highlighting Its Deep Tech Startup Investment Vision, Mission to Develop the Nation’s Startup Ecosystem for Sustainable Growth
Bangkok - InnoSpace (Thailand) Co., Ltd is hosting the virtual InnoSpace Summit 2021 to announce its achievements and performance over the past year and 2022 investment strategies that will focus more on Deep Tech Startups to develop the new economic engine for Thailand technology sector. InnoSpace (Thailand) Co., Ltd also sets an ambitious target to support Thai startups in global presence and become a world-class unicorn.
Mr. Tevin Vongvanich, Chairman of InnoSpace (Thailand) Co., Ltd., stated that InnoSpace was originally established on September 9, 2019 by a strategic collaboration bridging between public and private sectors, financial and education institutions, with a goal to support Thai startup’s competitiveness and a commitment to develop Thai startups in global scale. Today, InnoSpace (Thailand) is working to serve three strategic objectives, comprising 1) Gap Filling in the Ecosystem: Invest in potential startups that seeking for synergies and investment; 2) Alignment with Shareholders: create a collaborative integration between startups and shareholders to leverage startup services to corporate side, which will lead to a Synergy Value between startups and InnoSpace’s shareholders; and 3) Synergy between Stakeholders: Creating strategic collaboration between the public and private sector to strengthen the Startup Ecosystem.
InnoSpace Summit 2021 organizes in the virtual format under the pandemic situation and the Next-Normal lifestyle. The event features four main discussion topics including the announcement of the company’s performance and investment over the year; signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on the Deep Tech Venture project; a collaboration between Nastda Holding Co., Ltd and InnoSpace (Thailand) to deepen investment strategy under the Bio-Circular-Green Economic Model (BCG) theme to align with national strategy as well as the announcement to a joint investment in a startup “Horganice Co., Ltd”, which is a leading rental properties management platform in Thailand. The investment is expected to help Horganice to grow exponentially both local and regional scale. The event also highlights the most significant topic “Thai Startups After COVID-19 Crisis” to discuss solutions and perspectives on how Thai SMEs and startups will make a greater impact to next normal society. Three honorable speakers joining the online seminar are as follows;
- Kobsak Pootrakool, Senior Executive Vice President, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, and chairman of a subcommittee on business regulation reform
- Pakorn Peetathawatchai, President, The Stock Exchange of Thailand
- Prof. Dr. Siree Chaiseri, Director, Program Management Unit for National Competitiveness Enhancement (PMU-C)
For those who completed online registration of the virtual event will meet six potential startups in InnoSpace (Thailand) portfolio who is now planning a fund raising; Freshket, QueQ, GetLinks, Creden, Wazzadu, and Wsmart.
